🌟 Meet the CEO Monday 🌟

This week we’re spotlighting Quinn Gates, a homeschooled senior who is also on track to earn his associate degree from Spoon River College in the spring of 2026.

Quinn is a dedicated athlete and community leader—he plays club soccer, served as team captain this past spring, and volunteers as both a youth coach and referee at the YMCA, where he also works as a lifeguard during the summer.

Much of Quinn’s time is spent helping his family operate their grass-fed, grass-finished cattle farm. In his free time, he enjoys raising show cattle, woodworking for his traditional craft business, and fly fishing.

After high school, Quinn plans to attend a four-year university to study grazing systems and agroforestry, with the goal of returning home to run the family farm and start his own land management business.

Quinn shares that being part of the Spoon River CEO program is helping him build meaningful connections and develop skills to prepare for a future in entrepreneurship and agriculture.

👏 Let’s celebrate Quinn’s dedication, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit!
