Learning The Ropes 🐴

Students took their learning to the barn this week when they visited Carli & Wyatt Jones, owners of Jones Family & Versatility Horses in Lewistown, IL. Wyatt & Carli not only offered an abundance of knowledge on all-things horses, but also a vast amount of insight on what it takes to turn a passion into a business.

Carli & Wyatt’s story was a great example of the effort it takes to operate a family-owned business. From caring for the horses, to managing the day-to-day operations, to marketing in a way that stands apart from the rest, the Jones Family has clearly put in the time and hard work it takes to grow a business that is thriving.

This visit was the perfect reminder that CEO is what you make of it, and that anyone can learn valuable information from any business owner, regardless of the career field they are in.
